Junior Jug - Code of Conduct

CODE OF CONDUCT (ALL REPRESENTATIVE PLAYERS)

  • Respect the position of, and cooperate with your Team Captain/Manager.
  • Understand and respect cultural and social differences and behave with sensitivity and due consideration of others.
  • Act responsibly at all times.
  • Compete according to the tournament conditions and rules, and respect the skills of your opponents.
  • Accept officials’ directions and referees’ decisions without complaint.
  • Be a good sport. Control your temper and language. Encourage and support your own team members.
  • Be mindful of your own health and well being especially relating to alcohol and late nights, so you can perform at your best on the competition.
  • Respect the property and regulations of places of accommodation and modes of transport.
  • Abide by team arrangements for accommodation and transport.
  • If the Team Captain considers a player has breached the “Code of Conduct”, the player may be sat down for all or part of the tournament.
  • Selection in future teams will be dependent upon a player’s ability to abide by this “Code of Conduct”

JUNIOR REPRESENTATIVES (ADDITIONAL)

  • Smoking, alcoholic beverages and late nights will not be tolerated.
  • The use of medically specified drugs only will be permitted and will be supervised.
  • Entering Clubs, Bars or Nightclubs will not be permitted.
  • Approval from the Team Captain/Manager must be obtained before any team member may leave the place of accommodation, accept any initiation, or venture off alone for any reason.
  • Serious breaches of this “Code of Conduct” will result in the player’s parents/guardians being notified and the player being sent home on the first available transport. Any additional expense incurred will be the responsibility of the parents/guardians.
